One in every eight people aged 65 and older have Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease is the 7th leading cause of death for Americans. Given these statistics, we want to learn more about how to prevent this debilitating disease. Your senior loved one may be concerned about the color of their urine, the smell of their urine, or any other sensations they may feel while urinating. Your urine can indicate that there is possible health problems. Seniors in senior care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities may not notice their urine changes, but if the senior has regular doctor’s appointments, the doctor will test the urine for any problems or changes.
